‘Mirai’, the new hydrogen car by Toyota.
Officially launched in Japan last December, the new Toyota Mirai will be introduced in Europe at the end of summer and the Geneva Motor Show will host the European premiere.
Thanks to the use of hydrogen, this car is able to achieve unprecedented performance in terms of respect for the environment. Mirai uses the Toyota Fuel Cell System (TFCS), a system that combines the technology of fuel cells and hybrid technology package includes a new cell, the converter and new high-pressure hydrogen tanks produced by Toyota. The TFCS is much more efficient than conventional internal combustion engines and produces neither CO2 nor polluting agents.
